In-Game Economy & Store
Pulse Arena’s economy is designed to support progression and expression without undermining competition. The store exists to give players options, not advantages that replace skill.
Gold & Progression Resources
Gold is the core currency. It is earned through play and used for progression systems such as upgrades and cards. Players who choose to purchase Gold can do so through clearly tiered bundles, with larger bundles offering bonus value. These bonuses are intended as convenience, not power spikes.
A Daily Gold Booster is available for players who want to accelerate progression during a limited time window, without permanently altering match balance.
Cards & Character Progression
Character progression is supported through Card Packages, which contain a mix of common, rare, and legendary cards, along with bonus Gold. Higher-tier packages increase quantity and rarity chances, but all cards remain obtainable through normal gameplay.
The system is designed so that progression expands options and depth, not guarantees wins. Player decision-making and execution remain the deciding factors in matches.
Skins & Customization
Cosmetic customization is handled through Skin Packages and Bundles. Skins do not affect gameplay or stats in any way. Their purpose is self-expression and visual variety.
If a player receives a duplicate skin, it is automatically converted into Gold based on rarity. This ensures purchases always retain value and never feel wasted.
Battle Pass
The Battle Pass is structured around a free track and optional premium upgrades.
The free track provides steady rewards through regular play.
The premium track adds additional cards, skins, and Gold.
The Premium+ option is purely a time-saving convenience, instantly unlocking early tiers rather than exclusive content.
All Battle Pass rewards are distributed gradually over a monthly progression path, encouraging consistent play rather than grind-heavy sessions.
Design Intent
The guiding principle of the economy is simple: spending should never replace skill.
Players who invest time can compete meaningfully, and players who choose to spend do so for faster progression or customization, not guaranteed success.
