Progression & Upgrades

Progression exists to support experimentation and long-term engagement, not to lock players out of competition.

Players earn Gold and Cards, which are used for upgrades and progression systems. One of the core upgrade paths revolves around Pulse Crystals, which can be upgraded to improve specific stats.

Upgrades are designed to:

• Enhance a character’s identity

• Offer meaningful choices rather than linear power

• Avoid creating unbeatable advantages

The intention is that a skilled player with fewer upgrades can still compete against a more progressed opponent.
